Is Chattanooga Really a Bicycle Friendly Place to Live??

Year 2002: The Bicycle Facilities Master Plan has been completed. The bicycle route signs have been installed in North Chattanooga. Thanks to the support of Mayor Corker Chattanooga is making progress. But we need the citizens of Chattanooga to let the council members in all the metropolitan areas know that bikes are a wave of the future that we want to be on.

Year 2000: We have been so proud and excited about the progress Bike Chattanooga and the Bicycle Task Force have made toward making Chattanooga a bicycle friendly place to live.  It seemed like the city had rallied behind us in supporting cycling and other forms of alternative transportation and recreation.  Yet recently it seems like the support has gone nowhere.
