CBC General Meeting MinutesDecember 20, 20041 AttendanceThe meeting was held at the downtown YMCA. Amy French, Jim Johnson, Wendy Richardson, Carol Farmer, Phil Pugliese, Chris Dohmen, Martin Penny, Lois Newton, Tom Ingledew, David Blackwell2 BusinessGeneralThe meeting was called to order by Amy French, in the absence of Club President Steve Strain. Greeting were extended and introductions were made. The minutes for the November 2004 Club meeting were reviewed and approved. No old business was discussed. Ride CoordinatorJim Johnson gave a Ride Leader report and recruited leaders for January rides. It was suggested that the name and phone number of ride leaders no longer be submitted to the Chattanooga News-Free Press for publication. Readers will be directed to the CBC Website instead. This was unanimously approved. Bylaws ReportBylaws committee report was given by David Blackwell. The new Bylaws will go into effect January 1, 2005. The Bylaws committee will be submitting a draft Conflict of Interest to membership for vote at the February or March meeting. This is required as part of Charity organization Policy. Budget ApprovalA Budget was submitted and approved by unanimous vote of the members present. CharityMartin Penny gave a report on the Santa For All Seasons Project. The bikes were purchased and delivered by Martin. Appreciation was expressed for his spearhead of this effort. Nominating CommitteeWendy Richardson submitted the Nominating Committee Report. The following Ballot will be submitted to the Membership for vote at the January 2005 Meeting:
Colleen Carboni has agreed to continue in the appointed position of Commuting Coordinator, as has Cheryl Shouse in the position of Safety and Education Coordinator. Appreciation was expressed to the Committee for their hard work. With no further business, the meeting was adjourned. Amy French
